Mary McDonald for Schumacher

 

While searching for fabrics a little while back for some clients I came across the new line of Mary McDonald pieces for Schumacher.  I fell instantly for the Chinois Palais collection.  The colors are beautiful and the touch of greige in each piece is perfection.  I put them into several fabric groupings for upcoming projects and I am just keeping my fingers crossed that we get to use them in some way soon!

Love tufting and I love the idea of putting it in such a fun color.  It would be amazing mixed with simple white and black don't you think?

greige and green..

 

We have been searching for the perfect fireplace and I dream of something this beautiful.  Although it would need to be scaled down quite a bit I love the feeling it brings to the space.  This room seems so clean yet comforting and that little touch of color in the table and the pillow makes it perfect for me.

a little green and white..

 

Totally loving the simplicity of white and greenery with natural elements lately.  So clean and simple- which is what I need to sooth my hurried mind!  What do you have planned for this weekend?  Just soccer games and work here but I am glad to have a quite schedule to try and get things back to normal around here.

A little Kelly green love..

 

It is funny how somethings seem to catch your eye.  Lately bits of color seem to be extremely attractive to me.  During the show in Atlanta I noticed a few trends around..  the first was Geodes in decor- everyone had them on display in art pieces, on the walls, on the table tops, all over.  Keep your eye out for them.  The other 2 things I saw a lot of was purple fabrics and linens, as well as rainbow detailing on linens.  Loved it all just like I am loving these pops of Kelly Green here!
